KAPITAL DESIGN EMPORIUM: Returns & Refunds Policy
1. Defective or Unsafe Goods
In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), if goods are defective, unsafe, materially not as described, or unfit for purpose, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund within 6 months of delivery.
2. Cooling-Off Period for Online Purchases
Under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA), certain online purchases may be returned within 7 days of receipt for any reason, provided the goods are returned unused, in original packaging, and in substantially the same condition. You may be responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error.
3. Change-of-Mind Returns
Accepted only at our discretion. Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in resalable condition. You will be liable for shipping costs and any applicable restocking fees.
4. Refund Process
- Contact us at info@kapitaldesign.co.za with your order number, reason for return, and photographs if applicable.
- We will provide return instructions.
- Refunds will be processed within 15 business days of receiving the returned goods.
5. Exclusions
We do not accept returns for:
- Custom or made-to-order items.
- Perishable or consumable goods.
- Goods that have been used, damaged, or altered by the customer.
6. Third-Party Fulfilment
If a product was shipped directly by a supplier, we will facilitate communication but the supplier may process the return directly.
7. Dispute Resolution
If you are dissatisfied with the outcome of a return or refund, you may contact the National Consumer Commission or seek alternative dispute resolution.
